Revision of Arctic Landscape Classification from Fri, 2013-03-15 15:17

This map plots the landscape of the North American Arctic above the 10°C July isotherm, adapted from CAVM Map of the Circumpolar Arctic Landscape (CAVM Team, 2003).  The area within the arctic ecozone is divided into plains, hills, mountains, glaciers and lakes.

Legend

Green = Plain

Yellow = Hill

Brown = Mountain

White = Glacier

Hatched = Nunatak area

Medium blue = Lake

Light blue = Lagoon
